The Hamilton Speedway Drivers Club recently held at very successful Tribute Night, where some fifty plus members enjoyed a social evening and barbecue, and awards were presented to long serving members and volunteers, who had contributed consecutive years of active membership with the club. |

The opening meeting at Hamilton’s Western Speedway which was set down for Saturday November 19th has been cancelled, with the opening meeting now set down for December 10th as already scheduled. |

In spite of the wintry weather, a large crowd turned out to witness the running of the SRA Open Sprintcar Championship at Hamilton, which had plenty of drama, and good close racing on an ultra fast track. |

Hamilton Speedway Drivers members are out and about at the moment, with the Limited Sportsman drivers contesting their Victorian Title at Mortlake, where defending title holder, Hamilton’s Craig Ansell will be out to retain his number one. |
